TURNING THE HEARTS BASKETBALL SUMMER LEAGUE (Small Business Sponsors)

Labor of Love ministries will host its annual summer basketball league in Poconos in Stroudsburg at Helen Amherst Park and in East Stroudsburg at Dansbury Park. We also will expand this summer to Philadelphia area and the sites are Kemble Park and Ziehler Playground. Our purpose is to provide a basketball league for young people in our area, ages ten through twenty (10-20). The commissioner of the league is Juwan Justice, a former East Stroudsburg University basketball player and a current professional player who desires to give back to the community.

We are asking for your help in bringing our community of young people together for a positive activity- a basketball league. They will receive instruction, mentoring, and physical activity while learning the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.

We thank you for taking part in our summer league. Your tax-deductible sponsorship will help us reach out to youth in our community that others may not be able to reach. Paper prints will appear in the sports section of the Pocono Record and Philadelphia Daily News on Tuesdays through Fridays.
